A compact tilt switch sensor module that outputs a digital signal when its orientation changes, perfect for motion detection in Arduino and Raspberry Pi projects.
The Tilt Switch Sensor Module is a straightforward digital sensor that detects changes in orientation or motion. Inside the sealed tube is a small metal ball (or spring) that rolls to make contact when the module tilts, closing the circuit and pulling the digital output pin LOW (or HIGH, depending on wiring).
Operating at 3.3V–5V, this module interfaces easily with Arduino, ESP32, Raspberry Pi, and other microcontroller platforms via a simple three-pin header (VCC, GND, DO). It’s ideal for applications such as tilt alarms, orientation detection, intrusion sensors, and basic robotics feedback. Its compact, breadboard-friendly design makes it perfect for quick prototyping and educational projects.
Key Features:
✔️ Detects tilt and orientation changes via internal rolling element
✔️ Digital output signal (active on tilt)
✔️ Operating voltage: 3.3V to 5V
✔️ 3-pin interface: VCC, GND, Digital Out
✔️ Breadboard-friendly design for rapid prototyping
✔️ Compatible with Arduino, ESP32, Raspberry Pi, and more
